Terms of Service

Terms for using RewardFair's Australian money-search, claim-support, savings, and rewards software.

Effective 2026-06-26

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of RewardFair. RewardFair is operated by Sigmoidal Proprietary Limited (ABN 58 694 150 171), an Australian proprietary company incorporated in Western Australia.

By creating an account, submitting information, joining a waitlist, or using RewardFair, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use RewardFair.

MVP status

RewardFair is an evolving MVP. Some features may be limited, invite-only, experimental, changed, paused, or removed as the product develops.

Who can use RewardFair

RewardFair is designed for users in Australia and for Australian money sources. You must be at least 18 years old to use RewardFair unless we expressly allow another arrangement.

You must only provide information about yourself or another person if you are authorised to do so. If you use RewardFair for an estate, family member, company, trust, client, or other person, you represent that you have authority to act and to provide the relevant information.

What RewardFair does

RewardFair is software that helps Australians find, organise, and act on possible money sources. These may include government unclaimed money registers, state-held money, forgotten accounts, remediation programs, class actions, settlement notices, account credits, refunds, unpaid benefits, wage recoveries, and other claim paths.

RewardFair may ask for information such as your name, previous names, address history, contact details, account context, employment context, documents, and other details that help identify possible matches. We may use that information to search, monitor, compare, organise, and explain possible claim paths.

RewardFair is not a government agency, court, settlement administrator, fund, bank, insurer, employer, or provider that holds the money. RewardFair does not decide whether you are eligible, whether a claim is approved, how much is payable, when payment is made, or what evidence is accepted. The responsible register, provider, administrator, court, trustee, employer, or other decision maker makes those decisions.

Some official searches and claims can be completed directly for free. RewardFair's role is to reduce friction, surface possible sources, organise evidence, and explain next steps.

No advice or guarantee

RewardFair does not provide legal, financial, tax, credit, accounting, or professional advice. Information in RewardFair is general information only and may not take account of your objectives, financial situation, legal rights, tax position, or needs.

We do not guarantee that RewardFair will find every possible source, that a match is accurate, that a claim will be accepted, that a deadline will be met, or that you will receive any amount of money.

You are responsible for deciding whether to proceed with any claim, promotion, offer, coupon, third-party service, or external link. You should seek independent advice where a decision could affect your legal, financial, tax, estate, employment, or consumer rights.

Authority to search and process information

You authorise RewardFair and its service providers to use the information you provide to operate the service. This may include searching public and private sources, comparing details, generating possible matches, monitoring likely claim windows, contacting you about next steps, and, where you ask us to or where a feature supports it, sharing relevant details with a register, provider, administrator, or other third party involved in a claim path.

You must ensure that the information you provide is accurate, current, complete, and not misleading. You must promptly update information if it changes or if you become aware that it is incorrect.

You must not submit identity documents, health information, tax file numbers, financial account numbers, or other sensitive information unless RewardFair asks for it for a specific feature or claim step.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or misuse.

You must not attempt to access another person's account, bypass security controls, scrape the service, reverse engineer the service, interfere with the service, or use RewardFair in a way that could compromise security, privacy, availability, or integrity.

Fees, commissions, and commercial relationships

RewardFair may offer free, paid, subscription, referral, affiliate, success-fee, or commission-based features in the future. Any material fee or commission payable by you will be disclosed before it applies.

RewardFair may receive affiliate, referral, advertising, sponsorship, or other commercial benefits when you use certain links, coupons, offers, or partner services. We will aim to identify material commercial relationships where they are relevant to your decision.

Coupons, discounts, savings links, and third-party offers may change, expire, be withdrawn, or be subject to third-party terms. RewardFair is not responsible for a third party's products, prices, availability, fulfilment, refund decisions, or customer support.

Rewards, prizes, and games

RewardFair may from time to time test rewards, giveaways, mini-games, prize draws, instant wins, loyalty mechanics, or promotional games. These features are not guaranteed and may be subject to separate promotion terms, eligibility rules, permit or notification requirements, prize limits, verification, and tax consequences.

If separate promotion terms apply, those terms will control the promotion. RewardFair may cancel, suspend, or vary a promotion where required to comply with law, protect users, respond to fraud, or correct a technical issue.

Acceptable use

You must not: - provide false, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorised information - claim money you are not entitled to claim - impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority - upload material that is unlawful, harmful, deceptive, infringing, or malicious - use RewardFair to harass, exploit, or harm another person - interfere with RewardFair's systems, security, data, or other users - use RewardFair in breach of any law, court order, official claim rule, third-party term, or intellectual property right

Third-party services

RewardFair may link to, integrate with, or refer you to third-party websites, registers, administrators, providers, identity services, communications providers, analytics tools, payment providers, affiliate networks, coupon platforms, professional advisers, or claim processes.

Third parties may have their own terms, privacy practices, fees, evidence requirements, timeframes, eligibility rules, and decision processes. RewardFair is not responsible for third-party content, services, decisions, outages, security incidents, or failures except to the extent required by law.

Intellectual property

RewardFair, including its software, design, text, branding, data structures, workflows, and content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may use RewardFair only for your personal, lawful use or another authorised use that we approve. You must not copy, reproduce, resell, frame, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from RewardFair without our written permission.

You retain ownership of information and documents you provide. You grant us a licence to host, use, copy, process, transmit, and display that information as needed to provide, secure, improve, and support RewardFair and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.

Privacy and data security

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information. You must read it before providing personal information.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, but no software, network, database, or transmission method is perfectly secure. You acknowledge that security incidents can occur even where reasonable safeguards are used.

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses, claims, or incidents caused by your breach of these terms, your unauthorised disclosure of another person's information, your insecure handling of your account, or your unlawful or misleading use of RewardFair.

Australian Consumer Law and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy, or liability that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law.

Subject to the non-excludable rights above, RewardFair is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for: - decisions, delays, errors, omissions, or requirements of government agencies, courts, administrators, providers, employers, affiliates, or other third parties - inaccurate, incomplete, unavailable, outdated, or delayed third-party data - missed claim windows where the missed window was not caused by our breach of a non-excludable duty - loss caused by information you provide being incorrect, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or unauthorised - loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, data, or other indirect or consequential loss

Where we are permitted to limit liability for breach of a consumer guarantee or other duty, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupplying the service.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify Sigmoidal Proprietary Limited, RewardFair, and their officers, employees, contractors, and service providers against losses, liabilities, claims, costs, and expenses arising from: - your breach of these terms - your false, misleading, fraudulent, unlawful, or unauthorised use of RewardFair - information or documents you provide without authority - a claim by another person that you breached their rights by using RewardFair or providing their information - your failure to follow official claim rules, third-party terms, or applicable law

This indemnity does not require you to indemnify us for our own fraud, wilful misconduct, or liability that cannot be excluded under Australian law.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to RewardFair if we reasonably believe you breached these terms, created risk for another person, misused the service, provided false or unauthorised information, created security or legal risk, or where we are required or permitted to do so by law.

You may stop using RewardFair at any time. Some information may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy, including for records, security, legal, dispute, backup, and compliance purposes.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as RewardFair changes. The updated terms will be posted on this page with an updated date. For material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users or obtain consent where required.

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and applicable Commonwealth laws of Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia and courts that may hear appeals from them.
